We offer reupholstery or loose covers in traditional or designer style make-up. With different looks at a range of different prices, the choice really is yours.
Our extensive choice of varying upholstery fabric and materials will cover most home furnishing styles, especially branded sofas such as Parker Knoll, Multiyork, G-Plan and Ercol.
By using our free home consultation service, you can be advised on room colour co-ordination and any other home furnishings you need such as curtains, pelmets, tie-backs and cushion covers.Plumbs offers you all the benefits of a well established national company offering furniture repair and reupholstery services, combined with a personal level of service that can only be achieved on a local level.
Plumbs have been established for over 45 years and offer a nationwide service, covering more than 98% of households in the UK (including the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and Jersey).
We have around 250 Home Consultants who will visit your house to assess your furniture and recommend an appropriate covering option, and over 100 Technical Designers – local craftsmen who specialise in traditional loose covers and reupholstery. In short we offer national upholstering services with local expertise.
Our size and reputation enable us to provide our friendly and efficient service, together with our high quality upholstering products, at a very reasonable cost.Plumbs continue to grow their in home made to measure service, particularly with curtains, traditional covers and reupholstery. Plumbs are a full member of The Association Of Master Upholsterers.
Founded almost 60 years ago, The Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers has over 600 members throughout the U.K.Members, such as craft upholsterers and upholstered furniture manufacturers, have to meet, and maintain, the very high standards the AMUSF sets for the industry.
The AMUSF has always been actively involved with training for the industry and was responsible for creating the standards for the national NVQ’s for Upholstery and Soft Furnishings. Plumbs are proud to be a member of the Association.
